Gauntlet Build v1.1 Is Out!



VERSION 1.1 IS HERE!

+ Spam clicking too much for you? Press "W"/Right Trigger to enable turbo mode, allowing you to rapid-fire by holding down the fire buttons, at the cost of precise aiming!

+ Major tweaks to a major chunk of the levels to make gameplay more intuitive and less frustrating (we mean bad frustrating!)

+ Bug fixes, yadda yadda yadda!

With these quality of life changes, Lenardio's Cyberspace is easier to pick up than ever before (all 1 other time), so check it out!

FEATURES

- Added "Turbo" mode. Press W or R Trigger to toggle it. Turbo mode allows you to hold a shotgun/grapple hook input for it to be repeatedly spammed. However, actively firing randomly deviates the angle.

FIXES

- The "CONTINUE"/balloon in the hub area will now be grayed out if you haven't played the game yet.

- Lenardio now no longer clips through semisolids when being pushed down by a crusher.

- Fixed a bug where a very specific angle/speed of collision with a gel block could get Lenardio to clip through a tiny bit of it, allowing him to clip into solid ground above him.

- Fixed a bug where downwards crushers would teleport up a little bit after hitting a moving platform.

- Fixed a bug where sliding horizontally while on a moving platform moving in the same direction could clip Lenardio into breakable blocks.

- Fixed a bug where Lenardio could clip through purple blocks when shooting off of the top of a downwards crusher.

LEVEL ADJUSTMENTS

- 1-17 (the spinning saw introduction level) now no longer lets the player re-enable a deactivated color switch.

- 1-28 (the wall jumping up moving platforms level) now has two blocks added to the vertical moving platform sequence.

- 1-28's instant kill launchers have been moved further into the walls, halving their hitbox width.

- 1-2 (grapple hook introduction) has been tweaked to make where the player needs to grapple be more obvious.
- Semisolids have been added to 1-3 (introduction to the pogo-ing method) to reduce the punishment for failing a pogo.

- Select purple hazard blocks have been removed from 1-7 (first slime descent level, one with the sawblade shooters) to not require as precise timing

- Removed select purple hazards from 1-18 (vertical gel level with fast momentum preservation) to increase margin of error.

- Adjusted the last part of 1-26 (blasting off of horizontal crushers level) to require less specific timing.

- Crusher position and launcher speed has been adjusted in 1-22 (vertical crusher introduction level) to ensure Lenardio does not get caught on any crushers at the very end of the level.

- More time has been given in order to beat the downwards crusher in 1-23 (downwards crusher race level).

- Added more breakable blocks in 1-29 (breakable block maze level) to have a wider margin for avenues of exploration, as well as adding a semisolid platform at the end.

- Made many tweaks in 1-24 (series of moving platformers to stand on), namely making the series of platforms much wider.

- 1-19 (the moving belt introduction level) has been heavily tweaked to remove the blind timing sections in the latter half of the level.
